The 35th Special Deliveries Day Treatment Graduation Ceremony was held on Friday, October 10th at AADAP’s Goodman Building, the primary building for AADAP’s Outpatient services. Special Deliveries Day Treatment is a 10-12 month perinatal Outpatient program providing extensive services through substance abuse intervention, health care and ancillary services to pregnant and parenting women.
Mistress of Ceremony was counselor Maria Gonzalez. The program started with opening remarks by Outpatient’s Director Glenn Andres. The program continued with an Inspiring Poem, Words of Encouragement, Special Acknowledgements and Words of Inspiration by guests, graduates and alumni. There was then the heartfelt and entertaining presentation of the completing graduates by their counselors, Ana Ramos, Thi Mach and Kumiko Tsuda. Child care aid Reubenee Pryor continued the entertainment by presenting the Funny Awards to the graduates. The Anger Management and Graduation certificates were presented to the graduates by counselor Larry Gonzales and coordinator Eunise Asis-Poblete. We were then serenaded by a special number done by Goodman Building receptionist Yolanda Banks. The closing remarks were made by counselor Kumiko Tsuda. Afterwards, everybody dined on delicious Peruvian food from El Pollo Inka.
