Phyllis Mickle Passes

The AADAP Family has lost an icon. Phyllis Mickle passed away on Monday, Jan. 29th, 2018, after a long fight with health issues. From the mid 1970’s to the late 1990’s, she was a major force in the TC (Therapeutic Community- Residential), and she impacted thousands of people’s lives. We have so much to say about the many ways this happened, but we will struggle to find a way to tell the full story. Those who experienced her ability to cut through all the stuff to get to the heart of their issues know what I’m talking about. For now, we want to make it known to Family members who visit this website. There will be more to come later.

Rest in Peace, Phyllis.
