This year, the Olympic Academy, our youth residential program, coordinated AADAP’s celebration of Cesar Chavez’s Birthday. The youth put together and performed a skit that showcased the work and influence of Cesar Chavez. They also prepared food and games for everyone to enjoy. AADAP recognizes the significance of the work that Cesar Chavez was committed to. Aside from just celebrating the diverse holidays and special events, keeping the memory of Cesar Chavez alive is part of teaching the clients at AADAP to be open to different cultures and values.
