Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is remembered as a freedom fighter and role mode of the times. He shared a powerful message with the nation, transcending class and cultural boundaries. At AADAP we celebrate his achievements in an annual ceremony coordinated by our Outpatient Unit. A key characteristic of the ceremony is the vibrant energy present in the room, as AADAP staff and clients sing, share poems, thoughts, experiences, and commemorate Dr. King’s life.
