IYCC provides culturally relevant and language appropriate services for immigrant Southeast Asian youth and families in Los Angeles County.

Programs And Services:

  • Technical assistance and translation: For monolingual CalWORKs participants. If in the Long Beach area, please visit our Long Beach Outreach Office located in the United Cambodian Community Center (UCC) building, 2201 East Anaheim Street, Long Beach, CA 90804.   • Food Stamp Application Assistance: Assisting with the completion of food stamp application for qualified individual and families. IYCC's satellite site located on the second floor of the United Cambodian Community Center (UCC) building, 2201 East Anaheim Street, Long Beach, CA 90804 provides a food stamp program to the local community.   • Vocational Training: Job Development, Job Placement
  • Saturday Tutorial Project: College students and community members offering Vietnamese language and cultural classes, Lion Dance team performance, Community cultural events
  • Cambodian Social Club: Culturally relevant social & recreational youth activities for at-risk students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School
  • Problem Gambling Prevention: To prevent, educate and reduce the harmful effect of gambling in our society by providing free trainings and technical assistance. If you are interested in free training or technical assistance, please click on the “TA Application” link below.
