IYCC provides culturally relevant and language appropriate services for immigrant Southeast Asian youth and families in Los Angeles County.

Languages: Cambodian and Vietnamese

Programs And Services:

Individual, Group and Family Counseling: for substance abuse and domestic violence
Technical assistance and translation: for monolingual CalWORKS participants
Vocational Training: Computer and electronics courses, Job development, On-the-job Training, and Job Placement
Community education seminars: on substance abuse, health, and social services
Vietnamese Tutorial Project: UCLA students offer tutoring and college prep for high school youth, while younger youth take language and cultural classes
Cambodian Youth Project: culturally relevant social & recreational youth activities for high risk students at Poly HS in Long Beach
Vietnamese American Youth United (VAYU): leadership development, cultural awareness, and drug free event organizing for Leuzinger HS and North Torrance HS students
Problem Gambling prevention: To prevent and reduce the harmful effects of problem gambling for the API populations within Southern California by providing training and technical assistance services that are culturally and linguistically competent.
Cultural events: IYCC hosts celebrations for the Southeast Asian community
